100 + summer time

whoo hoo!! this is my 100th post. Can't believe I've posted that many. small change compared to some blogs but I'm proud of where I've come in my 100 posts.

with that it's also time to celebrate SUMMER!!

our sweet next door neighbor grew these and she was very proud to show them off... as she should be!

the vineyard

today I got to visit my first california vineyard (and even got to do a little wine tasting...mmmm)

k was so much fun to work with. I didn't have to give her a lot of direction and she would come up with such great expressions. she also happens to be a very sweet girl. can't wait to be able to work with her again soon!

fun in her easter dress

remember this sneak peek from last week?

I was able to finally finish it up. 

since katheryn loooooves her dress from easter (seriously, the girl does. she sleep, plays and eats in it. and if i didn't tell her it was dirty she would live in it 24/7). so when i told her she could wear it to a park and was like giving candy to katheryn a baby.

a few weeks ago we went to disneyland for the first time. k & i had never been but dad had. he had been looking forward to this trip since k was born, plus he's turning the big 4-0 soon so it was also a birthday treat.

We decided to drive down since it's only about a 6 hour drive. this was our first big road trip and i wasn't sure how k would do in the car that long. we packed a bunch of snacks, colors, books, etc. and hit the road bright and early. (by the way, she did GREAT!)

we finally made it to our hotel, which happened to have a great view of the park next to disney, california great adventure (which, by the way, was equally as fun as disney).

next up was checking the pool out & the awesome slide

today was the big day. we had to put our best dress on and sunglasses to accessorize.

and finally into the park.

and waited patiently to enter the castle (which looks WAY smaller in person.)

someone waited VERY patiently for her turn to talk to minnie

and to end our trip on a fun note.... a mickey mouse sucker.

i have soooo many more to share but unfortunately i've hit my 10 photos :( we really did have a blast and can't wait to go back and enjoy new memories.

hazy beach day

on our way back from disneyland last week we stopped at a beach in santa barbara. Even though it wasn't the normal blue sky and ocean i loved how the day turned out.
