The Parisi family thanks you for your support!!

These hands

have made countless meals for me.
Have hugged me when I was feeling lonely.
Have held me up when I couldn't hold myself up.
Have sewn clothes for me.
Have clapped for me when I graduated from college.
Have spanked me when I needed it.
Have shown me how to paint my finger nails.
Have held my hands when I needed a friend.
Have scratched my back countless hours.
Have shown me how to braid hair.
Have shown me what a mother's hands feel like.

And now those hands are showing my hands how to guide my daughter.

Thank you, Mom.
Happy late Mother's Day

seeing red

This is the last of my models from my photography get-together.
I "think" her name was Alexis and, once again, so fun to photograph. She was a ballerina, hence
the blue tutu. She knew how to strike a pose and I could ask her to do anything and
she looked beautiful. And her red hair, just to die for!!

This was late in the day and it was getting chilly. She was starting to get cold
but you couldn't tell. Very professional!!

the "Blue" family

I'm a little embarrassed to say I do not actually know the name of this family (insert embarrassed smiley face here). So, I'm calling them the "Blue" family until I find out their names. Why Blue?
They were dressed in shades of blue and they all looked fabulous!

The "Blues" were the family we got to practice on during the photography get-together a couple
of weeks ago. (See the first installment here, Ms. Kennedy here, and Ms. Lunna  here)

They were a great (and patient) family!!

lunna

Lunna was the third model I was lucky enough to photograph during last weekend's
photography get-together. (See the first two installments here and here.)

She was a trooper as well and took direction great! And what a beautiful smile she
has. She was another one I could have photographed for two hours straight!

Thank you sweet Ms. Lunna!

I decided this next one screamed out, "Make me black/white!" So I obliged!

kennedy

Here's a continuation from the best (photography) weekend ever!! See the first installment here.

Meet Kennedy.
What a beauty this girl is!! She could not take a bad picture. I had so much fun with her.
I could have spent the entire 2 hours just taking her picture in different locations!!
She was such a trooper at only 8 years old (I think). You could tell her to pose,
smile, laugh, anything and she would do it! Such a dream to work with.

Sitting at the senior girls' lunch table

That's how I felt this past Saturday. I was invited to attend a local photography
get-together in Santa Cruz. There were 15 of us made up anywhere from pro photographers
down to the amateurs (insert my smiley face here). I felt like I was a freshmen in high school
being asked to sit at the senior girls' lunch table. I was awe struck, giddy and intimidated. However,
once we started talking I realized we were all the same on the inside. We each had a passion for
photography! I loved every second being around them. Such inspirations!!

If that weren't enough we were able to spend a couple of hours shooting different models in
different locations in Santa Cruz. Another out of this body experience!

I'll be posting my favs throughout this week.

By far this turned out to be my favorite one!
