family bonding

this past week i was asked to photograph a celebration in memory of a wonderful man/husband/father/uncle/friend that past away way too early but left a remarkable legacy.

unfortunately i never got to meet him but hearing the stories from his friends, family, and mainly his daughter, who happens to be my fabulous babysitter, i have no doubt that the world is a better place because of him!

he didn't want his family to remember him in a sad way but wanted them to celebrate all that he brought to them. After his funeral they threw a wonderful celebration for him. his favorite team was the New York Yankees so everybody was asked to wear blue in his honor, which i loved!

SOME GET-TOGETHER FUN

last weekend i got together with some area photographers to have a fun day of shooting seniors (that's photographing in photography terms), chit-chatting and even shooting underwater.

yesterday i met up with some FABULOUS photographers from The Bloom Forum. It was the local group from there. We had soooo much fun! I'm burnt but it was sooo worth it.
